sammygee 's review for:
Using a list of boys that have had a varying degrees of impact on her life, Ruby Oliver recounts the events that lead up to being labeled as a "leper" at school, losing all her friends, and her boyfriend. The boyfriend list was composed after her therapist suggested she use it as a framework for discussing her history so that the therapist could develop a strategy for helping Ruby deal with the string of panic attacks she's being having.
Overall, a pretty decent teen read with an interesting family life and some well developed secondary characters. I liked the pacing of the story that was set by reviewing the boyfriend list chapter by chapter.
Recommended for teen girls grades 8-12.
