Though I’m too old to have been a 1D fan (which apparently served as inspiration for this), I was a teenager in the 90s and was verrrrry into boy bands then.
I liked the story, but felt it ended too early. So much detail was given when they were in Europe, then they get to the big climax and the book ends. I wanted to know what actually happened. I doubt it’ll happen, but I’d love a book from Jon and Angel’s POVs, covering what happens next.
Ruben and Zach were precious…I especially have a soft spot for Zach. I want all of his little emo punk songwriting dreams come true.
One nitpicky thing, the names of things in this book drove me nuts. “Saturday”? Maybe if there’d been an explanation for the name it would have bothered me less, but there wasn’t. “Chorus Management” just sounds lazy, as does “Good Afternoon United States”. Is it that heard to come up with better names?
