I was lucky enough to get a proof copy of this from And Other Stories. It's a short, powerful novella about a young woman who, dissatisfied with life decides to live in a remote firehouse. She loses herself in the isolation and, for the first time in a while, feels calm. I relationship with the local shepherd could be her salvation or her end.

Written in a gripping style I read this in one setting. Not a word is wasted. Loved it?
