The start to a reverse harem story about a college girl (or university - I can't tell if this is British or American school) meeting five guys at a club who happen to all be mated together. It is so short we don't learn much at all. The lead girl - Aly - thinks she is 'generically pretty' and is getting a degree in computer science so smart and 'hot', there is a best friend - Anna - who is a bit of a d*ck, but the only girlfriend she has. Typical jealous girl - Katie - who hates her and who stole her bf last semester/year (he cheated on her) and Katie is jealous of Aly, as five gorgeous guys are giving Aly attention instead of her.
The gentlemen are all supernaturals- There's the lovable character (a wolf/shifter called Jay), the leader (Nicoli, the Mage), the flirty one (Kiran - one of the twins and somehow a different species to his identical twin, one of them light-fae [Ajax, I think] and one of them dark-fae [Kiran] - they seem to be like a siren by gaining power/feeding on emotions bad or good), the quiet one (the other twin - Ajax he is the cutest one), the grumpy ass-hat who wants nothing to do with his 'fated mate' (Jeremy - he is a demon and was hurt by a previous woman so his fated mate can 'never' be trusted - yawn). The story is really only just starting and ends abruptly leading you onto the next book which I hope is better. If you want a quick story with sexual tension, that is easy to read (really easy to read) and you're not too fussed about plot/character development etc. It is a very quick Sunday afternoon read. Very fast pace with very short chapters.
