My Father and Myself by J.R. Ackerley

2.0

unique project, witty, bold, also follows the tale of a relative sociopathic misogynist who doesn't quite acknowledge the extent to which he is one. the reflections on his sexuality in that time period and the subtle insinuation that his father was also gay is interesting, but was unfortunately not the focus of the book (it should've been!. it was okay--not a waste of my time, also not something I'd recommend.
