Emara’s adaptability to change is very admirable, she is truly a fighter. Throughout the book, you could definitely see Emara grow stronger both with her powers and emotions, especially as she found her own little family in both the past and present. The banter from the trio in the past was so pure and wonderful, and how natural Emara and Jai’s romance developed is so sweet!!!
A wonderful journey as they traveled, and intense fight scenes are always so much fun in fantasy books. I was a little worried near the end that we weren’t going to get a happy ending, but I was pleasantly surprised.
I received this as an eARC, and read it as a standalone. I definitely want to go back and read books 1 and 2 as i very much enjoyed reading this book. Thank you, NetGalley and the Publisher for giving me an ARC, in return for an honest review!
