Perfect Peace by Daniel Black
5.0
This book started off a little slow. But picked right up, honestly at the right time. Emma Jean, mom of 7, does something that she later regrets. Overcoming her own trauma, she traumatized her kids more than she could’ve ever thought. Eventually, she pays the price. This is the second book I’ve read from Daniel Black, and he has a major gift! I couldn’t believe Emma Jean would do what she did, and I knew it would come back at her in a major way. There’s something to be said with all the characters in this novel. Each of them had a story to tell. I’m definitely glad I read this and will recommend this to anyone.
