never felt more connected to a character than i have by the end of this book <3 as someone who has worked terrible jobs in service industry & is also pursuing a creative career, this really struck a cord with me in a way i hadn't anticipated & i felt so oddly proud of casey in the last few chapters that i actually cried through most of it. five stars 🤍 one of my new favorites
