Albert is a charming narrator and the book reminds us of all the angst that went with coming out as a young gay man even in recent history. I loved his voice, and the change he goes through during the process or becoming his true self. The supporting characters were well-drawn and I eagerly turned the pages to find out what was going to happen at the end.
