Timekeeper
by Alexandra Monir
I knew going in that I would probably cry a lot, and I did! Not because it was terribly sad, but because I am a hopeless romantic and tend to cry at anything remotely sad or super-sap-happy. Anyway, I was really looking forward to this book, and it was such a fast, good, quick, and easy read that I flew right through it and loved it the whole way! This is such a unique story, I love the historical fiction, and everything's so well described that I feel like I am there myself! The characters are fun and believable and I actually feel for them more deeply than I normally do! I had so much fun reading this book! I loved getting to see Philip falling in love with her over again! The conflict in this book surprised me with its intensity and mystery. I just kept falling more and more deeply into this story until I couldn't stop until I had finished it!i didn't like that the past Philip didn't show up so much in this book, but I had to keep reminding myself that he is the one in the present! I also felt that the present Philip wasn't there as much as I had hoped. Timekeeper definitely revealed many secrets and past events that shed a lot of light onto current situations, and only deepened the plot. The end was so good, I couldn't have asked for better! the end was so good and amazing and I loved it! I really hope there is another book, because it may have been a great ending, I just don't want this series to be over! I had never read Monir before this series, and I will definitely be sticking to her books like glue!
