This is a lovely picture book about a young boy who wishes to hear Santa Claus's sleigh bells. One day the Polar Express stops in front of his house in the middle of the night. He goes with all of the other children for a magical visit to the North Pole. There he gets to chosen to by Santa Claus as the boy to get the first Christmas present of the year, but he only chooses one of Santa's silver bells.
The moral of the stories to always be humble, and if you ask for little things, and politely, you will always gat what you want.
