I enjoyed this. I've read a bunch of criticisms about it that I do agree with but it didn't affect the reading experience too much for me.
I liked the gothic elements of the ancestral home, and while I found the shifting perspective a bit confusing at times (I kept getting Stella and Hannah mixed up) I liked that we saw a little from each character. I would have been happy to just have Lottie and Pradyumna telling the story though - they were the most engaging and well-rounded. The descriptions of the food was lovely too!
The ending didn't quite hang together enough for my taste, but I can see why it was finished in that way.
