Well, I finished it! And, I enjoyed it! It wasn't perfect, but I did enjoy it and I'm going to read the rest of the series, so long as it keeps staying good.

I wish that there was more of a plot to it. Over half the book is setting the stage for the end, which is something I'm not a huge fan of in my books. What kept me going was that I kept comparing this in my head to The X-Files. Blue was Scully and Gansey was Mulder. Their dynamic reminded me of them and just Gansey's pure obsession about the ley lines (which is such an X-Files thing to be obsessed with).

For how character-driven the story is, I found it very hard to differentiate the characters. They were good, but I couldn't keep all of them straight in my head. I'm sure that in the next book, it'll get easier. Or, I'm hoping it will! I want to like this series and I'm hoping that I do.
