The story unfolds through a patchwork of testimonies about the murder of Santiago Nasar, each one adding a piece to the puzzle, slowly mapping out the chain of events that led to his death. And yet, even with all these voices, so much remains unclear. Maybe it's the distance of twenty years that blurs the truth. But what I keep coming back to, what continues to haunt me, is the question: Did he really deserve to die? Or was this just fate, unfolding exactly as it was always meant to?
