This is an absolutely beautiful work of fantasy. The character relationships are so deep and interwoven that at times you have to sit back and say, "Wait, she... and him... so he... and she... oooooh, that's good. That's VERY good." The images are vivid and the story had me glued to my chair until the very last line. Truly amazing.
This is my first Anne McCaffrey, but believe me, this book has turned me into one devoted fan! I can't wait until I finish the next one!
