Run Away
by Harlan Coben
Why have I never picked up a Harlan Coben novel?!
I knew I had to have it when someone said on Instagram "it reads like an episode of Law & Order: SVU"
This fast paced thriller that keeps the action ball rolling along was un-putdownable.
Simon is on a quest to find his oldest child-his daughter Paige. She has been living in a dark world. Simon encounters her finally one day in Central Park. She runs away from him and Simon has no choice but to pursue her- by doing whatever is necessary to bring her home. What follows is a dark path with many players involved.
This story also goes to show that no matter how good you think you have it, even with a very privileged lifestyle, dark and scary things can happen.
This book includes one of my favorite elements in any story (I don't want to spoil anything for those that haven't read it, but you can always ask!) I also was so satisfied with the ending
I will definitely be picking up his backlist!
