A Man in Full
by Tom Wolfe
Three stars ONLY because Tom Wolfe can sure skewer a town and its culture. I'll read anything about Atlanta and he nails a lot of it.
But omg, omg, omg did this book need an editor. Also it needed an interesting plot.
And it's been a long, long time since I read a book with such paltry, one-dimensional female characters.
An excellent reminder of why I don't read more Tom Wolfe. But, giving credit where it's due, a scathingly accurate depiction of certain aspects of Atlanta society.
