The rom-com aspect was on point, just as ridiculous, filthy escapism as the last two. However, not only was there a more serious subplot (marring the 'cozy' thats been underlying the series thus far with actual threat and harm) but it centers around Frank and Beans. I did care for them when they were introduced, but this book ensured I loathed F&B. I hope they never return.

TLDR:
F&Bs presence makes this enemies (but not really) to lovers monster rom-com with actual personal growth difficult to read and very difficult to desire re-reading.
