It hooked me right from the start. The knocking on the walls, the small changes in the protagonist's behavior, the dreams... Just typing it out now is scaring me.
However, as much as I liked it, I felt it to be a bit anticlimactic. The chapters are structured such that they're building up and eventually come to a close at the end of the chapter. I would have liked a bit more continuity in the emotional buildup.
That said, I thoroughly enjoyed this, and would recommend.
