This entry in the Wyoming Cowboy series is an enjoyable and pretty good read. Does it have cheesy moments? Absolutely but that’s to be expected.

I really liked Becca and Hank’s story. I was intrigued by Becca’s story in the book before this one, so I was excited to see that she got her own book. I loved Hank and Libby. Hank’s story with Libby is sad but heartwarming. I’m also a sucker for a single dad. Mostly because I love watching dads take really good care of their children, and Hank provided that in spades. I also loved how Hank cared for Becca. He was quiet and hard to get to know but it was well worth watching him come out of his shell. Even if it was frustrating at times, like when he wouldn’t form coherent sentences by grunting instead.

I loved how Hank, Becca and Libby became a little family. I also loved that the love story took place over a time period that was longer than a week or even a month.

I also liked that both Becca and Hank and little experience in the romance department but were able to overcome the baggage from those relationships. Some of their assumptions and miscommunications annoyed me though. Especially because it made the story seem incredibly repetitive.

Overall, I really liked this one. I’m looking forward to reading about Hank’s brothers.
