I really like Reign. I really liked Declan’s growth. I do want more on Webb bc that man definitely reads as if he set Declan up but ok whatever.
I found it interesting how the reincarnation plot played out. A bit on the expected side but still creatively executed.
What I didn’t like? And why I can’t give it 4 stars? The weird age gap at the start. Why did she have to be 12 when he was 30 and met her? Granted he kept it “platonic” but it felt very groom-y. I was able to ignore it in that I pretend she was 20 and still dipped bc that age gap was not necessary lol and then to add insult to injury poor Thad was being looked at by a 100s of years old fae. Grosssss.
