I enjoyed the plot, it kept me entertained. I like the characters especially Vana with how she gets her powers and becomes a badass. The problem I had with this book is the telepathy. I can distinguish when they talk with their mind but they don't always say to each other or it is a thought, so it got a little confusing. There were a few times when they seemed to be talking about one thing then all of a sudden they recalled something from the past but then they jumped back into the present with no warning/transition. That got annoying. Overall a good book.
