This is another great addition to this trilogy. I loved learning more about the dragons. I thought the multi-POV is so well done and the exact view you want for the scenes they speak. Florence really came into her own, since she was on her own. The slow burn finally ignited in the best way. There were a few twists I didn't expect. I'm so interested to see how this story continues. I also wonder how much the king actually has power. This book gave me a different perspective that I wasn't expecting. I also really love all the women in this book, regardless of what side they are on. They all have strong characters and do things based on their beliefs and what they feel is right. I love that they have power and use their wits.

Overall, this is beautifully written. This story is so vivid and unique. I'm excited for the next book.
