This was my least favorite of this series. Still fine but I just didn’t care about the characters the way I did in the first 3 books.
I thought the flashbacks to the MCs high school romance went on too long. It was necessary background but I didn’t need so much of it. This one didn’t seem as “fun” as the others; the MCs had conversations not cute banter. The FMC’s parents are so absurdly one dimensional that I just didn’t care what they did. And the daughter is cute but no child is that perfect all the time with all the changes going on around her.
It is a 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ with detailed scenes and dirty talk. The spice was great. The author does that really well. This book just seemed kind of unnecessary to the series. I’m
