okay so this is more like 3.5 stars, im still not sure though. im definitely gonna read more books in this series because i think (or maybe hope) ill really like them. this book felt a like an exposition for the whole series, which (i assume) some parts were a little boring.
i was a little annoyed that cleo was always beung called strong or whatever when she really wasnt. and i didnt hate her or annything, shes a solid character but she just isnt those things this book says she is. i do hope that she will have some good character development and becomes those thing.
overall this was a good book, just a little slower. it mostly made me excited to read the next ones, so i hope i wont be dissapointed.
