The pacing of this book seems a bit off. It's cruising along nicely, then in the last 150 or so pages, WHAMMO! Climax and done. There are a lot of loose ends left, though that's a mixed blessing to me.

Overall, I still enjoy this series. Every series has its pitfalls; the ones in this trilogy don't prevent it from being an enjoyable tale.
