colin is a short king/cinnamon roll. love that this is a bi4bi romance book. we need more books where the mmc is bi, just saying. i'm also here for the adhd rep!!! if the cover alone doesn't convince you to read this book, you might be a lost cause (lol jk). this is alexandria bellefleur's best writing yet. truly and colin's relationship is so adorable and sweet and tender and ugh i want more of it. (one of) the best part(s)? there's no third act breakup. truly's scheme to bring her parents back together serves as the third act conflict. my only minor complaint is i wish we had one more scene with caitlin (colin's sister) after they make their relationship official. and also i didn't get all the show tunes references, but that didn't sour my enjoyment of this book. the writing style is *chef's kiss* the level of detail is stunning and just PLEASE READ THIS BOOK
thank you to harper collins for sending me a copy of this book! i absolutely devoured it.
