Das Feuer retten: Roman by Guillermo Arriaga

2.0

This thing was all over the place. Romance, crime, live behind the bars, portrait of two different parts of mexican society.....and none of it REALLY worked out.

Plus - I don't know why Arriaga thought it would be a good idea to write not only from different perspectives (that much I can understand), but also from that weird, slight time difference. Nothing of significance was communicated through that artifice.

Absolutely loved "The Wild" - this was a disappointment.
