I had no idea this was part of a series, but it stands up extremely well on its own. I definitely plan on exploring the others! Fantastic thriller mystery with all kinds of fun red herrings to keep you guessing (although my hunches were for the most part correct-FINALLY!).
It's odd, but instead of the serial killer, I was more creeped out by the thought of someone taking the time to build a snowman in my yard so that it stares directly into into my house. I will never look at a snowman the same way ever again.
