Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

This is a very entertaining can't-be-put-down book.
Also I commend an author who can make high school physics quite appealing and engaging to most mainstream readers who may not be from a STEM background while instilling a love of science and sense-of-wonder in the process. Kudos! Weir.
That said, there are some problems with the plots such as sometimes, facts established in the past are ignored for a deu-ex to occur, or, how conveniently some of the events just happen to coincide.
Also, Weir's best when he is explaining physics, same can't be said for xeno-physiology or xeno-linguistics (It made me LOL when Grace decodes Rocky's language in a flash, but then again not everybody can be Chiang '[b:Stories of Your Life and Others|223380|Stories of Your Life and Others|Ted Chiang|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1356138316l/223380._SY75_.jpg|216334]' )
We have had a novel set on Mars, another on the Moon, and now this one finally in outer space. All I now thirst for is a full blown space opera.
