"For her it was the Big Bang in reverse- everything that became nothing."

It's been a long time since I've read a book that physically made me cry. I was worried I wouldn't like it but I'm glad I gave it a try after repetitively picking up/putting it back down at the bookshop.

Anyway, I don't forgive her mother. I understand why she did it and I'm glad she got help in the end- but she took a whole 18 years away from her, who could forgive that?

P.S. Carla is an angel sent from above and I hope with all my heart that Zach found happiness and peace.
