I got this book as a present from a dear friend for finishing my two-year honors thesis, which was devoted to analysizing the socio-political commentary in zombie films.
This book? Was AMAZING. So inventive, really well-written, and an incredibly interesting read. We never get to truly see things from the zombies' POV, which made this a gem in and of its own right. Loved the horror homages and references, loved the pacing, loved the subtle twists at the genre and the crazy amount of humor.
