Seven Suspects by Renee James

I'm not usually a huge fan of thrillers, but this one was pretty fun.

Bobbi Logan is a transgender woman running a hair salon who is just trying to get over the recent breakup with the love of her life. But when strange things start happening to Bobbi, it's up to her to find out who is terrorizing her - and what they want.

This was an enjoyable thriller. It had an interesting story and gave me a new perspective on what it's like to live as a transwoman. I loved hearing about the competing parts of Bobbi and her adjustments to living as a woman. That was the best part of this book honestly. The thriller part was a bit...predictable. As soon as the villain was introduced, I knew who it was and was frustrated that Bobbi was unable to identify the bad guy.

Overall, this is a book that lovers of thrillers will enjoy and that trans people will probably be able to relate to (maybe not on the stalking front, but definitely on the transitioning parts).
