A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole

5.0

I can’t count on two hands how many times I’ve read this book and yet, all those times were long before I was reviewing books. So it’s only fair to resolve that now.

A Hunger Like No Other has always and will always be a favourite of mine. It does a really nice job of setting up the Lore and the entire world of creatures, while also giving us the romance involving a possessive werewolf. I’ve always enjoyed the take on all the creatures. (i.e.: the werewolf not being a typical shifter wolf we often see nowadays). Reading this book now, in 2022, is comical, as there’s tech references from years ago, but it didn’t throw me that much. Emma is great, always makes me laugh. The push-pull romance is perfect for them.

I wish I could write about the first time I read this book, but I just remember it was a life changing feeling and put me on Kresley’s path forever. It’s great to be rereading a beloved series.
