Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler
2.0
I felt this book was trying to be a less intense, not as serious, girl version of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and failed. While I was initially intrigued, I quickly found it hard to follow and found myself often losing interest in the plot. It did give me many a flashback to my high school years and I could closely relate to the first love craziness and then complete and utter heartbreak, but that still didn't change my overall opinion of the book. Maybe were I back in high school, I would feel differently. If you feel like reminiscing your high school loves, read on, my friends. But if you're looking for interesting and intriguing good read, keep searching.
