3 1/2 stars. The first half of the book was recycling more of the same... the second half was a bit over the top but definitely entertaining. Overall it was my least favorite of the series, yet I still stayed up past my bedtime reading - Rachel Caine does suspense well and it was nice to see how everything tied together. I’m not sure how I feel about the direction the series is taking, part of me wishes it would have remained just two books... but I’m willing to give #4 a read when it’s released.
