The Code Breaker: Jennifer Doudna, Gene Editing, and the Future of the Human Race by Walter Isaacson

challenging informative inspiring medium-paced
I really enjoyed the story, but I felt like Isaacson kept inserting himself into it where he had no business being. Very frustrating from that perspective. If he was writing a 'journey of discovery' book (which he says this is) it should have been about that, but he just kept remarking that X was told to him in an interview, and passing judgement on the people he's writing about, etc., which really took me out of the story in ways that were distracting and unpleasant.
