“ You brought the silence,
The most beautiful sound I’d ever heard”
I have a lot to say here so buckle up and get ready for the ride!
Characters-
First things first, I actually really enjoyed the characters. The both had a lot to unpack and a lot of depth that just developed over the length of the book. Bree learns to face her fears and Archer learns how to make a mark without using his voice. I think this is the first book I’ve read where a character was only able to communicate through sign language. I feel like this author showed the struggles and challenges of being mute while also showing how different people can view someone with a disability. Honestly the writing was beautiful but there was a few flaws here and there and a few moments that were very unnecessary
Story and more-
Never in my life did I think my jaw would be on the floor in utter shock and disgust at a spicy scene while I was driving 😂 there was one part that was so cringy I still think about it and it honestly almost made me DNF. If you want details you can message me but that’s as much as I’m saying!
Overall a pretty good romance book, I recommend if you’re looking for something small town feeling, inclusive and quick to read through this one is for you!
