Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky
1.0
Given the reviews, I'm sure some will like this book, but it wasn't for me. The premise was interesting, but the story dragged on for all 700 pages. I didn't find it scary, only mildly creepy. Somewhere around the halfway point, it switched from being a horror to a thinly veiled religious sermon. Had I known that, I would have never picked the book up. The only reason I finished it was because I was already around 300-400 pages in by the time I thought about stopping it. Now I feel like I wasted three weeks of my life because I could have been reading something else.
