Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald by Therese Anne Fowler
3.0

I wanted to like this book. I really did! Maybe I just wasn't feeling the "fresh take" on the old story, or maybe I was looking forward to something and was disappointed in not seeing it, I don't know. Either way, I was less and less satisfied as the book progressed. Zelda was strangely two-dimensional. I wanted her to do something wrong instead of just feel like she had (or not feel like she had) and I wanted her to be a little more crazy. Her thoughts were so collected that I could hardly reconcile it to the history of the true-life person whose story I knew so well.
