I was sucked in by this one after intially being quite irritated by the style.



The novel starts off with some very flowery prose but once the action was underway it was very like one of those blockbuster disaster movies that just takes you away despite your best intentions. The novel has plenty of flaws but the environmental apocalypse theme linked with the paranormal is topical and it certainly kept you going right through to the end.



The book has a great jacket!
