Picking up shortly after the events in [b:Not Even Bones|34324484|Not Even Bones (Market of Monsters, #1)|Rebecca Schaeffer|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1523768993l/34324484._SY75_.jpg|55387141], Nita struggles with grief over her father's death and the choices she's made and continues to make in an effort to stay alive. Along the way she reconnects with Kovit and the two of them find themselves in murkier and murkier moral territory as they try to decide who they want to be and who the world will let them be. This book nicely sets up the next book in the series. I'm curious to see where Schaeffer goes and hope you gets a little tighter in her writing and plotting. For example, how come every time Nita gets a gun in her hand it disappears without explanation? Overall 3.5 out of 5
