katedeegee 's review for:
Nine Perfect Strangers
by Liane Moriarty
this book was sold to me as a thriller and i fear that if it was a nonfiction boom it still would be too boring. i have heard really good things about the show and thought i would read the book first but oh my goodness this was a snooze fest. i thought i was getting a thriller about not everything being as it seemed, but what i read was a story about people overcoming their grief and body image issues in the most surface level of ways. once i read this i watched the show and they were literally two completely different stories, there were a couple aspects of the book that i enjoyed more than the show, but overall if you are looking for something exciting and thrilling, read a different book or watch the show on hulu.
