You know when a book takes you a bit of time to get through but you don't actually mind, and instead let yourself seep into the story and marinate in-between the pages. This was such a well written, well crafted story that doesn't really fall into one specific genre and is instead an amalgamation of multiple different genres, all effectively used to convey this deeply unique story. Today I learnt that I need to read everything Kate Morton has written.
