Evil Boys by Clarissa Wild

3.5 rounded up.

There’s a lot to unpack here. How are all these rich college kids basically highly trained assassins? And why does this school have not one, not two, but three violent secret societies? I’m exhausted just thinking about it.

This book easily could have been 150 pages shorter—there simply wasn’t enough substance to justify the length. The big reveals felt buried beneath all the extra fluff, making them less impactful than they should have been. It also didn’t quite live up to the first book in the series, which had a stronger grip on pacing and plot.

That said, the spice was solid, and if you’re an audiobook reader, the narrators were absolutely perfect.
