Generally I'm willing to overlook plot holes depending on the genre of the story. Sometimes you are looking for a book that makes you feel good, or can overlook some parts of the story to enjoy the overarching themes. But I feel like this book has a lot of major plot holes (I understand this is part of a series). I can overlookand forgive parts of this book, but the author tends to conveniently add information to justify actions or excuses for characters in the book. I think it's pretty clear the main focus is the plot if you catch my drift, which was not the most well written. Everything is just told to you, nothing is left to think about for yourself. And when things don't add up ST Abby will tell you about some super relevant information that allows us to overlook major flaws with character or plot consistency.
