While reading this book, a few things confused me, especially
how Joseph was such a perfect guy to all the women, even as a cheater
.  About 80% of the way through, things made sense, and I understood better who to root for. In classic Beth O’Leary fashion, it has a lot of heart and hope, but also doesn’t shy away from hard stuff. The reveal was clever and changed how the whole book felt to me, but I think I would need to reread it for everything to fall into place as intended as I wasn’t given enough time after it to properly adjust my character opinions. Overall I thought this was good but not the author’s best.
