Boss Man Bridegroom by Meghan Quinn
5.0

I haven't laughed so hard at a book in a long time. Definitely in my top ten of re-reads and my favorite characters from Quinn. Charlee is a complete hoot! I loved everything about her especially her innumerable quirks. Charlee Cox, the aficionado of organization and office supplies finds herself in her happy place after being downsized. Imagine her surprise when she ends her day with an armful of supplies and a new job. Her high hopes are dashed when her office space and everything on the eighty-eighth floor is monochromatic and bland as all get up. It's downright depressing. The topping on her craptastic first day--being fired within hours of starting. What's a girl to do? Return the next day and challenge her boss. After all he didn't specifically say "you're fired." And be the best executive assistant as possible.
Rath Westin is the odd man out in his circle of friends since he's the only one not in a couple. Hell, even playboy Roark has Sutton. It's not like he's looking or wanting a woman. He just wants the camaraderie the three of them used to have. Plus, he's falling behind at work since he keeps firing an assistant faster than some people change underwear. Rath is beyond irritable. Linus has the perfect solution. Charlee, the girl he was rude to at the convention center, but she stood up for herself something he desperately needs from his EA. He hired her on the spot. The entire first week together was riddled with challenges. A new song every day at the elevator. Color-coding days. She even knew exactly what to feed him and when he needed to take a break from work. The perfect EA. All he needs to do is stop thinking about bending her over his desk or the numerous other fantasies he has about her. He made the mistake of falling for his EA before. NEVER AGAIN.
But he also can't live without his Charlee "bag of dicks" as an assistant or his girl.
