Wilson's translation is far easier to read than Lattimore on a casual read through. Sometimes I disagreed with her translations of various lines, in that it seems context was lost in favor of promoting a specific narrative. For instance the famous "to eat a man raw" is more vitriously contextualized in Wilson than in Fagles perhaps to construe it's deeper meaning to the inexperienced reader. I'd recommend reading this translation alongside a more like by line translation to see good comparison of what is sorry versus what is paraphrasing.
