I tore through this one. Written contemporaneously with WWII, it was still prescient in seeing where the Nazi party was leading the country. I found this really interesting - how quickly someone could go from being "best friends and brothers" with someone who is Jewish to disavowing them and betraying their family. Very strong recommendation, particularly if you're looking for a darkly humorous comeuppance.
